Oslo, 4 May 2026 – Mobius Renewables has acquired Air Liquide’s equity stake and now owns 51% of Redo Biosolutions. We will continue operating under the same name and with the same activities in Norway and Sweden, supported by a long-term platform to scale biogas as a zero-emission energy solution.
The change in ownership strengthens our ability to grow and meet rising demand for renewable energy solutions. Mobius Renewables is built to scale biogas across the entire value chain and will support us with long-term capital, expertise and execution capacity, while our delivery network and operations will be maintained. We’re also proud that Skagerak Energi remains a minority owner, contributing strong local roots, industrial expertise, and a long‑term commitment to renewable energy.
“This transition represents a new and exciting chapter for Redo Biosolutions. Integration with a long-term investor in biogas infrastructure creates significant opportunities for continued growth and market expansion. Mobius brings scale, expertise and strategic focus that enable us to expand the business, while maintaining the strong relationships and operational quality our customers rely on every day.” Frode Halvorsen, Chief Executive Officer, Redo Biosolutions.
Mobius Renewables is a global, vertically integrated low-carbon fuels company accelerating the development, production, distribution and commercialisation of biogas at scale across North America, Europe and the Nordics, and is majority owned by the IFM Core Energy Transition Fund (IFM CETF).
